Chapel Drive Planning Appeal

Kler Group applied to build 93 dwellings on land to the rear of Chapel Drive, Aston Clinton, beyond the settlement boundary of Aston Clinton and next to the Buckland Parish boundary and the Moat. The application was refused, and the developers appealed the decision. A planning appeal was held in August and the Inspector has dismissed the appeal. His reasons for refusal were that the proposal conflicted with the development plan, it would harm the intrinsic character and appearance of the area, habitat sites would be affected, and it would have an adverse effect on the Beechwood Special Area of Conservation in the Chilterns.
