As of 1 April, the Wendover and Villages Community Board, which Buckland was part of, was renamed to East Bucks Community Board. This will form one of eight of the new geographical areas for the Community Board team across Buckinghamshire.

The local elections will take place in May, and a new Chair and Vice-Chair, who will be a Buckinghamshire Councillor, will be assigned from one of the wards in the East Bucks Community Board area.

Once they are in their positions, the next stage will be setting our priorities for 2025/2026 and the board would like your involvement in setting these for the local area you live, work and play. So if you have any new initiatives or ideas for improvement then please get in touch with eastbuckscb@buckinghamshire.gov.uk for an informal conversation with the Community Board Manager, Michelle Parker.
